If the effect of "Phantom of Chaos" or similar cards resolves and later "Skill Drain" or "Effect Veiler" negates its effects, it keeps the copied name and effect, as well as any stat changes.
If "Gladiator Beast Darius" summons a monster from the Graveyard with its own effect, and is then used in an Xyz summon as a material, the monster that was summoned from the Graveyard will NOT return to the deck, AND regain its effects. (Of course, effects that activate when the monster is summoned don't activate.)
"Axe of Despair", "Summoned Skull", as well as some other cards count as "Archfiend" cards. (Relevant for "Falling Down") If you're interested, here is a list of all "Archfiend" cards, including the ones that can not be recognized by their names.
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_%22Archfiend%22_cardsIf you use "Doppel Warrior" for a Synchro Summon that is negated, Doppel Warrior can not activate. This means that a monster is only considered a "Synchro Material Monster" if the Synchro Summon was succesful.
When "Prohibition" or "Psi-Blocker" is blocking a card from being Used, this means the following:
It can not be activated, or activate any of its effects.
All its effects are negated.
It can not be Set
It can not be Summoned by its own conditions, or via a Normal Summon
It can not Attack or change its Battle Position
It can not be used as a material in Synchro, Xyz, Fusion or Ritual Summons.
Aside from these things, other cards can move Prohibited cards around as much as you want. (This is also the only way to get a card called by Prohibition into being blocked, as Prohibition only blocks cards that reached the field after it was played)
A player is considered to have "Special Summoned" (for Pot of Duality or Cardcar D, for example) if he has:
Special Summoned succesfully (duh)
Special Summoned unsuccesfully (Negated Xyz Summon, Negated Synchro Summon, Negated Cyber Dragon Summon)
Resolved an effect that would have special summoned. (Veiler vs Zombie Master)
You are not considered to have special summoned if:
An effect that would have special summoned had its activation negated. (Warning vs Polymerization)
